Katarzyna Maria Wieczorek is a polish composer living and working in Trondheim, Norway. She has a background in musicology and music technology from NTNU. Wieczorek is also a vocalist and music producer. She started focusing on composing when she started her music technology studies, and made her entrance as a composer and producer in 2020 with writing music for Solidarnosc/Solidaritet, a dance performance premiered at Rockheim, Trondheim. Wieczorek loves to improvise and explore timbre, she often used synths mixed with her own voice and get inspiration from folk music traditions.
